Corbin Lilya

Hey, I'm Corbin Lilya

I'm a prospective Software Engineer, founder of GreekLink, and a Computer Science student at Boise State University with a passion for mobile app development.

My Story

I was born and raised in Blackfoot, the potato capital of the world, in Eastern Idaho. From a young age, I was fascinated with computers, spending countless hours on my dad's old work laptop learning HTML, Photoshop, and other creative tools to make things from scratch.

In high school, I took dual-credit computer science courses focusing on Python and Java. I pushed myself academically and became the first student in my school's history to earn an Associate's degree before graduating, all while finishing as valedictorian.

At Boise State University, I discovered my passion for building software that solves real problems. When I joined a fraternity, I realized how scattered chapter management was. We relied on group chats, Google Docs, and word of mouth. As chapter president, I wanted a better solution. Since nothing like that existed, I built one: GreekLink.

What I'm Working On

GreekLink

A fraternity and sorority management app with AI features to streamline chapter processes.

LotWatch

A parking officer reporting app, built for the RevenueCat Shipaton hackathon. I'm documenting the process on TikTok (@corbin.build).

Career Hunt

Outside of Code

Outside of coding, I love spending time with my girlfriend, rock climbing, and watching football and basketball. Sports and climbing keep me competitive, while coding keeps me creative.
